I've watched a fair few videos demonstrating brush markers/pens whilst being MIA this past year, so I thought I would give them a try. I did, and failed epically. I ended up buying three different sets of markers over the past couple of years and eventually decided they were not for me, Copics are my happy place.
Then I watched more videos, the ones that address the paper and eureka, success at last! Now I just need to find a way to use up all the watercolour pads I bought and failed on, I don't do things by half, that's for sure,
I stamped the Floral Wonder by Woodware on to Strathmore Bristol Smooth card with Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink and used Zigs to colour the image.
069 Blush, 230 Pale Rose, 044 Deep Green, 043 Olive Green and 098 Pale Dawn Grey for shading/shadows.
I used a sentiment from the MFT Bitty Birthday stamp set and sequins from Little Things from Lucy - Beauty
I've made other cards with Arteza brush markers and also watercolours that I will share in the coming days. I'm rather enjoying having some me time with paintbrushes and markers.
