Pine Bough

Whimsy Stamps mini release is here!  I went for traditional again with this beautiful Pine Bough stamp.  It's not large enough for a full Slimline card but works so well with the Slimline Marquee Die.

I stamped the image out twice and coloured with copic markers.  I coloured the background first with E41 and E40 markers then used G29,  G46, G43 and YG03 for the branches and E41, E25, E29 for the pine cones.  Because the image is already pre-shaded it makes for really easy colouring.

I inked a panel of smooth cardstock with Distress Oxides Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany then splattered water and gold paint on to it.  Once it was dry I ran it through the die cutter then adhered the stamped images behind the windows with foam tape.

I finished off with a few gold sequins and a heat embossed sentiment from the  Holiday Mini Sentiments Stamps

Here's a peek at what the DT have come up with for this new release
