Whimsy Stamps have release the most amazing Slimline Scallop Peekaboo Die as part of the latest mini release, and. it's. fabulous! I decided to do innie and outie scenes, so started off with the front by die cutting the scallop and peekaboo elements then masking off around the doors so I could do some inking with distress oxides. I used Tumbled Glass, Story Skies and Faded Jeans. I didn't add water splatters because I'm really not a fan of uneven and messy, so I added in some stars and snow with a white gel pen.
I then die cut the Christmas scene from the Mountain Majesty Die Set and adhered in place and then finished off with a heat embossed sentiment from the Holiday Mini Sentiments stamps.
For the inside, I repeated the background from the front of the card, then stamped out those sweet little birds from the Tweety Pie Clear Stamps and coloured them with copic markers. I used the following copic markers:
Birds: E42, 41, 40: W3, 1, 0
Pinks: R85. 83, 81
Purle: BV04, 02, 01
Branches E59, 27, 25, 21
I love how this card turned out, this is one slimline die that is going to get used a LOT!
