Sending Love

When I saw the Elegant Wood Frames stamp set from Whimsy Stamps I saw background stamping with the floral images so set about making a couple of really quick and easy valentines cards.

I stamped both floral clusters and the individual flowers in Versamark ink on to red card then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  I trimmed the red panel to size then die cut a heart from the Primitive Shaker Shapes Die SetI stamped the Cherish sentiment on to the card blank then mounted the panel on top using foam pads, then finished off with some gold sequins.

The second card dame about because I hate throwing stuff away so used the heart from the other card, layered that over a black heart die cut and popped it on white card.  I die cut LOVE from the Bold ABC Die Set three times from white card and once from gold satin finish card, adhered these together then adhered to the card and finished off with a few gold sequins.

Two quick cards done and dusted 😁

  1. Hi Bev the red and gold work so well together , i love the embossed background and how you have punched the heart out the middle a quick and easy card but very effective and beautiful. Love them both.

  4. Tremendously beautiful. The gold embossing atop dark red cardstock is nothing short of mesmerizing.

Joyful Valentine's week wishes from my heart to yours,
    ♥ Autumn
