Beaver Birthday

I made another scene card, though this one was way quicker than the Bearing Gifts card I did a few weeks back.  I think what sped up the process for this card is that I incorporated patterned paper into it, so a much smaller and simpler scene was needed.

Using the Grass and Cloud Edger Die Set I die cut a strip of scrap card to make a stencil for the grass.  I inked up the grass using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink, then finished off the top part of the panel with some Tattered Rose and the lightest touch of Abandoned Coral DOI.  Using a copic marker I flicked in some grass on the green colouring to add a bit of dimension then die cut the panel with the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set.  I popped this panel on to a layer of paper from the  Giraffe Paper Pack and mounted this on to a top-fold card.

I stamped and coloured the beaver and balloons from the new Beaver Birthday clear stamp set, fussy cut them out and popped them on to the panel over the fun Connected Oval Frame Die.  I finished off the card with a sentiment from my favourite set - the  Everyday Mini Sentiments Stamp set

The copic colours used are:
Beaver - E44, 42, 41, 40, W0, W00; W7, W5; E93
Balloons - YG07, YG05, YG01; BG05, 02, 01, 000
