Instead of using the new Falling Leaves background stamp as a background, I decided to highlight sections of it for two cards. I got two cards from the one inking and heat embossing, and they came together so quickly too.
I heat embossed gold embossing powder on to a piece of patterned paper. I felt the embossing wasn't popping enough, so I added some peeled paint distress ink in places to darken the background a wee bit.
For the first card, I die cut some Pierced and Stitched Circles and arranged them on the card. The Birthday Word and Shadow Die set was cut from glitter card and vellum. I finished off the card with a sentiment from the You're my Jolly stamp set with heat embossing on a piece of black card and some black Nuvo Drops
For the second card I used a panel of the embossed background and added some die cut leaves from the Build a Pumpkin Patch Die Set. I coloured some with copic markers, some are die cut from glitter card, and I popped in a few berries and some branch thingymajiggies that I picked up from Hobbycraft (in their flower arranging section, around £2 for a good sized bag). I added a sentiment from the Fly By clear stamps set and some Nuvo Drops
