I combined a bit of inky CAS with some handmade flowers, so I was back in my happy place.
I die cut some Peony flowers from watercolour paper, the paper I used is just a cheap pad at around 200 gsm so easy to mould and shape and strong enough to handle it too. I coloured the flowers with distress inks then spritzed lightly with some water and moulded them on a foam pad whilst still wet. I set them aside to dry then finished them off with stamens and beads for the centres.
Whilst the flowers were drying I made up the card by inking a piece of acetate with some Pumice Stone distress ink, spritzed it then sploged it on to the piece of card (DL sized) more or less where I wanted it. I added some splatters of Pumice Stone and Black Soot inks and once dry stamped on the Birthday Wishes greeting.
I finished off with a wreath die cut and some leaves in white and also in the matching Pumice Stone to blend in with the background. Oh and some black Nuvo Drops too.
