Caregiver Hugs

Whimsy Stamps are doing a mini release this month that are cancer/illness related.  We've all been or all will be touched by this in some way and I for one am at a loss on what to say when that happens and indeed we often forget about the caregivers that give their all to those that need it.

These stamps are just perfect for this, and I've used the Caregiver Hugs clear stamp set for today's card.  This is such a darling stamp set,  and worked perfect with my foofy more is more style that I had seemed to veer away from for a while.

I coloured the image with copic markers:

Bears: E25, 21, 50; W3, 1, 0, 00
Grass: G29, 46, 43, 40, 20
Butterflies: R83, RV10

  1. So lovely and sweet. I love your color and pattern choices. Great coloring too!

  2. Such a beautiful card and for such a wonderful reason! I love the meaning behind this! :)
As someone who has been fighting the cancer beast for far too long, I really appreciate the focus. My oncology nurse from the first time I was dealing with this was just fabulous. I was allergic to the chemotherapy medicine, and she helped me so much. They are often the unsung heroes!

  3. You couldn't be more right when you say we forget about the caregivers!! It takes a toll and makes the strongest of us seriously reconsider our faith. Bless the hearts of caregivers and loved ones going through or have gone through cancer!! LOVE the cute card <3

  4. Wonderful card, such a sweet image - everyone needs a hug! xxx

  5. This card is so soft and loving Bev, it's beautiful. And I love reading the other comments about what these stamp sets mean to their lives. xo

  6. Soooo beautifully done Bev! I adore this sweet creation hun. A brilliant creation with these new stamp sets. So perfect. Hugs, Wends xoxo
