CAS Butterflies

I'm back to girly today with a CAS card.  I really love this Butterflies Fluttering stamp set from Whimsy Stamps, and this time I didn't even colour the butterfly!  Instead I stamped and heat embossed on to a piece of left over peachy pink paper that I'd used as the centre panel on the card.

I stamped the Farmhouse Shiplap background stamp onto white card with Weathered Wood Distress Ink and finished off with a doily die cut from grey card, a digital sentiment from the Everyday Banner Sentiments and a few dots of black Nuvo Drops.  As always, I make the drops onto freezer paper and allow to dry before adhering to my card with some wet glue.  I find I get a much better and glossy shape that is definitely more dimensional than if I just pop them straight onto the card direct from the bottle.  I'm totally Awkward Annie! 😜
