Hello and welcome to the Wow! and Whimsy Stamps collaborative blog hop. Whimsy Stamps is my favourite stamp company (as if you didn't know, ha!) and Wow! Embossing Powders are my EP's of choice. In fact I only use Wow! powders - I hadn't even realised that!
For my first two cards (scroll down for the other card) I made two because I wasn't sure how the Silver Pearl embossing powder would show up against the white card in the photo. I needn't have worried, it photographed great! I used Inca Glintz for the gold card. I heat embossed the Wood Grain Background Stamp then die cut using the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles die set.
I heat embossed the Wood Grain Background Stamp with Wow! Inca Glintz and Wow! Silver Pearl embossing powders. I also heat embossed the die cut Leaf Foilage with Wow! Mint Macaroon embossing powder, and finished off with a foamiran Peony Flower and a digital sentiment from the Everyday Banner Sentiments.
For my third card I used Wow! Opaque Bright White embossing powder to heat emboss the Spiral Roses Background Stamp on to watercolour paper. I then added distress oxides in pinks, coral and yellow and die cut the shaped card with the Notched Squares die set. I added a butterfly from the Butterflies Fluttering Stamp Set which I heat embossed using the Opaque Bright White on vellum. I used the same white to heat emboss the sentiment from the Painted Sayings stamp set on to black card and finished off with the Friend die, the drop shadow set it off beautifully!
