Winter Roses

I’m rather getting into this CAS lark, especially for Christmas cards.  I used my pencils (both Prismacolor and Polychromo) to colour this Winter Roses background stamp.  I only picked one part of the stamp to colour, I’m liking the white space …. get me!

I used the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle Dies to cut the white panel, love the detail the stitching gives.  I finished off with a sentiment from the digi Everyday Banner Sentiments set and a few Nuvo drops.

Winter Friends

It’s not often I use navy blue on cards, but I like how it works with the gold glitter card.    I’ve used Winter Friends which I’ve coloured with copic markers.  The sentiment is from my favourite Holiday Mini Sentiments stamp set.

The icicle border on the word panel was done with a really old Martha Stewart punch.  I unearthed these the other day, man I went crazy for those things and have dozens of them …. as you do ha!

CAS Christmas

Don’t the months roll around way to fast?!?  It’s Whimsy Stamps release time again and this time I’ve gone with a quick and easy CAS Christmas card with a bit of stamping and a die cutting.

I stamped the Snow Flurries background stamp onto white card and heat embossed with white EP.  Then I applied some Pumice Stone Distress Ink with a blending too.  The Christmas die was cut 3 times from white card and once from brown glitter card and layered together to give some dimension.  I finished off with some die cut Christmas trees in white and glitter card which got some pearl “baubles” on them.
