Join us from August 27th through to August 31st for a fun joint blog hop between Whimsy Stamps and Glue Dots. Our teams will be sharing lots of beautiful projects featuring products from both of these companies. And we will have lots of prizes hidden along the hop as well as a grand prize valued at $100!
I’ve made a Christmas card with a foamiran poinsettia that I made using the Lily Flower die set from Whimsy Stamps.
The poinsettia was so easy to make, I cut two large and two small petals, heated and moulded them and glued them together. I give a bunch of stamens a coat of gold paint and used this for the centre. Lots of Stickles helped to bling them up. I used Glue Dots to attach my chipboard frame, stars and leaves. The Glue Dots Super Strength Permanent Glue Squares were perfect to adhere my paper layers.
I die cut the Christmas sentiment 3 times from white card and once from gold glitter card and adhered them together.
I picked up a few packs of paper straws from the Pound Shop, loving these in amongst the flowers!
