With Love

I had such fun making this card, I really am loving making cards without stamped images now and then, so relaxing and I get to fiddle lol.

 

 

 

I got some beautiful new papers from Noor Design in my last DT kit, so shabby and so delicious.  I’m loving the soft greens in this pack which work so well with the
soft pinks in the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.  I also got the new Doodles stamps which I used to stamp around the top layer of the card. 
They are clear stamps so really easy to use and set the layer off perfectly.  I’m not brave enough to scribble on the papers myself, so having the stamps to hand is great.

 

 

A peek at the finished inside, which matches the front of the card.

Happy Birthday

A quick and easy card today using pretty pastel colours and loaded with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I love making these girly-girl cards, I can really go to town with the embellishments!

 

 

I used a chipboard sentiment which I painted then sanded in places to give a shabby look. 

 

 

I layered with die cuts and lace to finish off the look.

February 2016 Whimsy Stamps Release

For my card today I have coloured up Bonnie by Sylvia Zet.  Cute or what?!?

 

 

I’ve used copic markers to colour up the image:

Bonnie: C5, 3, 1, 0, 00, R20
Basket/Hat: R43, 41, 40, W00
Flowers: B04, 02, 00, 0000

 

 

I am so in love with this little cutie ♥ 

I’ve used Lemoncraft Forget-Me-Not papers (love these, they are so scrummy)

 

 

Embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used forget-me-nots (natch), cherry blossoms, miniature sweetheart blossoms, chrysanthemum, magnolia, vintage
seam binding and pearl/rhinestone finding for the centre of the bow.

I can’t believe I’ve had this little cutie Maya from Whimsy Stamps for so long and never coloured her up.
