Something a bit different today. I was sent this ‘Twas the Night stamp in my last DT kit and pondered for a while what I could do with it. See, it’s big so takes up most of the front of the card, and it’s busy too so I couldn’t smother the card with my usual embellishments. So I decided to keep it simple and let the stamp do the talking.
I stamped and embossed the stamp three times, then coloured up the flowers on each one. I cut out around the flowers to raise them up from the card for extra oomph. I used one of the smaller flowers to add another layer.
I used the Ice Stars mask to add some texture to the white card, and sprinkled with fine glitter before the structure paste dried. Gold mirri card, a red ribbon and a chipboard sentiment was all that this needed to complete the card.

A vintage Christmas card, and a quick one at that, to share today
I started off with the burlap patterned paper which didn’t look very Christmassy – so I heat embossed some white snowflakes on it and voila! It’s Christmas. I used a Crealies stacking die for the second layer, using the same embossed paper, and I edged the paper with Stickles to give a bit more definitiion. I love how the white pops on this card.
I pulled the centres out of the small poinsettie, pulled them apart and rearranged them then applied Stickles to the centres instead of the original stamens.
A fair few die cuts, also in white, later and a super quick Christmas card. Love how this one turned out.
The image is from a sheet of vintage images from Live Love Crafts – these are perfect for quick cards.

A card for the men today. I don’t know about you but I really struggle to make cards for men and usually end up buying them, so when this Silhouette Tree stamp arrived in my DT kit I thought it would be perfect for those hard to make cards.
I found this cute owl charm in my stash which fitted with the idea I had in my head whilst I was making this. I cut the Autumn Ivy Leaves circle die from some of the paper that is in the pad, inked it whilst it was still in the die then inked the edges.
I coloured the Kraft Art Leaves with a dark brown marker. Note I couldn’t NOT put flowers on, I tried sitting on my hands and nope, that so didn’t work lol. I restrained myself tho, and only snuck two on.

First up – thank you so much for all the messages, emails and comments, I really do appreciate it ♥
I’m back on the Wee Stamps train again, I simply adore Sylvia Zet’s images.
The papers and tag are from the Nitwits Autumnal Bliss collection – so pretty! I used a Spellbinders border set for the shaped and scalloped border.
The stamp is called Hopeful from Whimsy Stamps.
