A little hug

Here’s another of the LOTV fairy stamps that I bought weeks ago and have only gotten round to inking up.  Nitwit Collections have a new digi kit out – Flower Shoppe Collection and oh man it’s just simply delicious!  I have worked with the bundled collection but you can just buy the kits you want/need.

Coloured with copic markers and a touch of pencil and white pen

Hair: E49, 47, 44, 40, no pencil
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, R20
Pink: R85, 83, 81, RV91, light magenta polychromo
Lilac: BV13, 11, 01, 0000, imperial violet prismacolor
Leaves: BG99, 95, 93, G20, juniper green polychromo

As always I have finished off the inside to match the front of the card

All the embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used seam binding, brads, pearls, pins, trellis rose, fabric daisy, lilies, open roses 15mm, chrysanthemum

Phew, what a fortnight this has been!  Backwards and forwards to the doctors for yet more tests.  I swear there can’t be much blood left in me for them to take lol.  Anyhow, on to a card I finally managed to finish this morning ……. I have been on it for ages.  I have used one of the LOTV fairy stamps, this is Petal.  And I have used one of the most delicious digi kits from MicheleR Design.  Oh my goodness, these colours are just stunning.  The kit is Vintage Fall.  I have used the papers, inserts (these really make the inside of the card so pretty and are a doddle to use), and elements 2 (for the sentiment on the inside).  Michele has 25% off so scroll down to the end of the post to get the code

A look at the insert.  I separated the insert so I could mat and layer the individual pages, then printed off a sentiment and matted on to a scalloped die.  The doily is actually part of the insert design – fab or what!!!

Copic markers used:
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, 0000, R20
Hair: E59, 57, 53, 51, 50
Dress: V95, 93, 91
Shoes, wings and leaves: BG99; 95; 93, 91, G20
Flower: RV99, 95, 93, 91, 0000

Flowers and rhinestones are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used a classic rose, 25mm wild rose, sweetheart blossoms, open roses (15mm), miniature gardenia flowers

Love how this card turned out, the colours are simply sublime!

Time Flies

Time sure has flown this week, those bank holidays throw me for a loop.  So another card that I finished last week that I just did not get around to posting, one of the new LOTV fairy stamps that flew into my basket when they were released then sat on my desk waiting to be inked.  This one is Time Flies

Again I have used that delicious In the Country paper pad my Michele for Whimsy Stamps.  My last 3 cards have been made using this paper pack and each card has a totally different look.  Love that.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts - 25mm wild rose, open roses 15mm, 4mm rose buds, miniature gardenia flowers, chrysanthemum  and then lots of pearls added for extra colour.  The lace is from my stash, I think I got it off Ebay.

An upside down look at the flowers, I just LOVE that chrysanthemum, so pretty!
