It’s the last Ribbon Girl Challenge for 2013 so they have made it nice and easy with anything goes. I have used one of the new Whimsy Stamps images, this is Sugarberry Bliss and she has been coloured with distress inks.
The papers are Papermania First Noel. I wrapped the rusty primitive star with natural button twine and popped a rub-on sentiment in the centre.
I was in a rustic mood when I made this card so also used some natural faux hessian instead of ribbon or lace and added a couple of rusty jingly bells.
A closer look at Sugarberry
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts – I used a wild rose, cherry blossoms, 15mm roses
I have a card ready for tomorrow – woo get me, two cards on the trot lol. A big thanks for all the get well wishes for my Tony, he had the surgery on Friday and that went really well. However he was really poorly after the surgery and the pain has been incredible. But … typical bloke … the lay there in agony and didn’t tell them that the morphine was not working!! He’s off that now and on different pain meds and when I spoke to him this morning he said he felt much better. Men!!!
