Update of sorts and thanks

Firstly thank you for the many many emails, cards and phone calls that I have received, you all are truly amazing and so thoughtful.
Things have not been good at all, and gradually have been getting worse (if that was at all possible).  I seem to be getting nowhere fast and am fed up with being shunted from doctor to doctor.  One of the medications that I am on has now been doubled but I have to titrate this over a 4 week period so hopefully in another month I will start to see the light (else I am so going to jump off of that Tyne Bridge, no joke!).  So, I am still around and will try and make a start back in my craft room again over the coming weeks, providing I can sit in here for a decent period of time.
Before I sign off, I have a fabulous give away to do sometime in the next couple of weeks and also a review to do for Daylight Lamp Company so do keep an eye out for this, the give away is flipping awesome, and I should have done it a couple of weeks ago but I have just not been up to it.
Thanks again Smile

  10. Hope your medication kicks in soon... and you can stop the Doctor-go-round! My Mum had the same sort of experience a couple of months ago, and they (the fourth doctor!!) finally worked out it was hyponatremia -caused by drinking too much water (she takes some hypertension meds that are diuretic and she had all the symptoms of dehydration so she kept drinking water!) since they got her medications right she hasn't looked back... hope the same thing happens for you and you are back to your happy self soon, Donna xx

  30. Sooo glad to hear from you Bev, but really sorry to hear, that things are still sooo bad. I really really hope, that things are going to improve a lot right away, and the meds will start kicking in, so you´ll get to feel better again. I have really missed all your awesome creations, but ofcause your health is the most important thing right now. I know, only too well, what it´s like to cycle around in that medical system, as I have been there during 5 years before they finally found out to do something about it, so I can now live a reasonable life, even it´ll never be rally good, then at least I can function now, and I really hope for you, that you´ll come to that very soon too at least.
Please look after yourself hun and don´t overdo anything at all, we´ll all be here anytime you feel up to get back here, and if there´s anything at all, I can do to help, please just yell okay? I do know a few tricks now to get through the system LOL.
Hopefully you´ll have a good week ahead now and also a bit of fun too.
Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig cyberhugs to you my friend.

I know you have been getting advice from so many, but I just want to say that my brother inlaw years ago went through something very similar, couldn't walk straight, hand to crawl because the dizziness was so bad. After all the Drs they send him to it was finally another neurologist that figured it out. A fungal infection deep within the ear. I was also giving him injections of vitamin B per his dr to help the nervous system heal.

  110. So good to have some news from you Bev. I've been checking everyday and worrying about you so much! So sad the docs still have no answers or appropriate treatment. I am sending lots of healing thoughts your way. I was thinking the other day when I was puzzling over this, that my migraines when I was younger were eventually linked to the contraceptive pill I was on, and I had to stop that treatment all together as everyone we tried, I was just struck down with a awful migraine. My thought process for sharing this, being that you're a Grandmam, is there anyway it could be connected to hormone replacement therapy? Just a thought, worth mentioning if it can be of help. If it's not possible, than just ignore me. Just sending loads of love and wishes for an appropriate treatment very soon. Hugs, Wends xxx

  114. Hi Bev - as I maybe mentioned in my recent email, I've not been at all well this year either with a major flare of my Sjogren's syndrome (autoimmune condition), so know how tough & frustrating illness can be, esp when it continues despite treatments. I'm on the edge as to whether I'll end up in hosp yet again, but 3 months in thus far this year has been more than enough for me!!

Just SO good to see you managing to get online - it was the first thing I wanted to do, before getting stuck into the card making, & the latter continues to be my therapy & distraction from my pain etc, but it's no longer as easy as it used to be. You're more of a fighter than you probably realise, so hold on to the good things & keep moving forward (little else you can really do anyway!). God bless,xx

  120. I have been so worried about you. Thanks for posting an update. When the usual Sunday emails had not come for a while, I figured something was wrong. So sorry to hear you have been having such difficulties. I have to read back in your posts to know more about what is going on but I did see mention of dizziness and nausea. Have you been to an ENT? I had similar goings on in the 80s and it turned out to be Meniere's disease. I was treated with something called Antivert here in the US and it really helped. I pray someone comes to a diagnosis and treatment very soon and that you will be good as new. You are added to my prayer list.
