I dug my Sarah Kay stamps out again on the weekend and had a play. When I first saw the theme for this week’s Wild Orchid Challenge I balked. These are so not my colours (well they weren’t …) BUT I love how this card turned out. Purple and Green together are sublime! Thanks Mindy
The stamp is Picnic of Daisies, I just adore the innocence Sarah Kay manages to capture. She has been coloured with Copics and pencils
Skin: E11, 00, 000, 0000, R30
Purple: V99, 95, 93, 91 and dark purple pencil
Green: BG99, 96, 93, 90 and Paynes Grey pencil
Basket: E44, 42, 40 and light umber pencil
Grass: BG96, YG63, 61, G20
The flowers used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and are Cottage roses, cherry blossoms, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, and have tucked some white stamens in amongst the flowers. The colours are Walnut (purple) and Moss Green). I have used a ~Cheery Lynn Bird Cage die (and heat embossed with Frantage embossing powder). The lace is one of the new products in stock at Wild Orchid Crafts. They have also had massive restocks of all colours of flowers with lots more expected (including more new goodies!!!) The border die is by Whimsy Stamps Lace Doily 1 border die
