Can’t believe how long it has been since I inked up one of my beloved Sarah Kay’s! Man life sure does get in the way of fun sometimes! I can’t remember when last I coloured a Sarah Kay with distress inks so set to on the weekend to put that right lol. This is my card for the new Die-ing for a Challenge
The distress markers and inks used to colour Babette cuddling kitty are
Skin: Tattered Rose, tea dye
Hair: Vintage photo, antique linen
Dress, hat: Pumice stone, black
Pinny, shoes: A mix of bundled sage and tumbled glass, black
The gorgeous paper is Pion Design Grandma’s Schoolbook – delish! The taupe drop scallop lace picks up the little daisies on the paper beautifully.
Finished off with Wild Orchid Crafts products – those divine new scalloped pearls (not got the link yet but will update the post as soon as they are on the website along with lots of new scrummy yumminess!!!) The flowers are chrysanthemum, 20mm rose, 15mm roses, tulips and baby’s breath flowers in pastel green.
I snipped off a butterfly from the CC Designs Butterfly border die and embellished the flowers with leaves from the Cheery Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip border die.
I hope you can join in our challenge this month, it’s such a fab sketch by our Hazel.
I’ve popped this card along with another in my Etsy Shop
And before I sign off I just want to give Pops a plug, she has set up a Folksy Shop to sell some of her fab cards, go take a peek
