OMW I am loving this Prima pad and the peach/black colour combo and seeing as the pad had not been put away yet I decided to pull more papers out and make another card with the same colours as yesterday’s card. I think even fairies look good with black. It’s been ages since I coloured up On Tiptoe from LOTV.
I thought that I would attempt the colouring with distress markers and ink instead of the copics used yesterday. It was a bit of a palaver to get the peach colour just so but with a bit of experimenting I got to a shade I was happy with.
Colours used
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo (she was going to be blonde but was too wishy washy)
Skin: Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo and a touch of aged mahogany mixed with the tattered rose for the cheeks
Dress: I mixed Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick together adding more colour as necessary till I was happy with the shade (I used the reinkers for this)
Wings: Pumice Stone
Foilage/grass: (colours laid down in this order) Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Walnut Stain, Scattered Straw, Black, Peeled Paint. (leaves are just peeled paint and forest moss)
Shading around fairy: Tumbled Glass
This shot shows the little mirri dragonflies off perfect (picked them up at Hobbycraft on the weekend)
That’s all from me today, the links to products used are at the bottom of the post.
