It’s Just Magnolia and Die-ing for a Challenge day today (naughty me combining challenges but needs must). We are being sponsored by Jacobi nl at Just Magnolia and by Dies to Die For over at Die-ing for a Challenge. Jacque has done us a fab sketch to follow on JM, and we have a really easy challenge on DFAC – anything goes with dies.
I have been playing with my Distress Ink Markers and can now say I think I like them (so contrary). They took a bit getting used to after colouring with Copics for so long and I have a fair bit to learn all over again but they ain’t going to beat me lol. So here’s me first distress markers card that didn’t land in the bin.
A close up of the image Tilda catching stars – don’t look too close lol! These markers are a dream to use, especially as all I needed was my old water-brush to blend the colour that I had laid down with the markers.
The gorgeous papers are Wild Rose Letters from Paris paper pack. I enjoyed making this card so much I got totally carried away with decorating the inside. The sentiment is Anna Griffin from QVC. The die cuts are Do Hickey and Spellbinders on the inside and on the front I used one of the new Go Kreate doily dies that were released this week, this one is Spiral #3. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Fanciful Birthday Notables 1 set.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used Large Wild Rose 40mm, cottage roses, tulips, 15mm roses, 10mm roses.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend, I will be back bright and early tomorrow with a new WOC surprise candy and later tonight with the winner of my LOTV blog hop prize.
hugs

Hi Bev~
ReplyDeleteThis card is above amazing and stunning! I can't think of a word for it! I look at her and I think she is throwing the stars with her dreams out into the Universe to be put into action!
Your coloring is amazing! The grass is super good. I wish you would put it on a list to teach us. These distress markers--are they a certain brand? How do they look distressed?
I love how you put flowers together...you use the big ones, too! And, the inside is for a princess! Maybe that's what I see a princess in charge of dreams scattering them out over the Universe! Such an imagination! LOL
