Anything Goes at Lili’s Little Fairies
We’ve a nice easy challenge at Lili’s Little Fairies this week, and I like easy! So here’s one I did earlier using one of the super cute baby stamps from Lili of the Valley, Baby with Teddy.
The papers are those gorge K & Co Watercolour Bouquet (think this is one of my favourite pads). The flowers and seam binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the lace is from my stash.
I have also used one of their Greetings Postmarks stamps for the sentiment along with the mini kraft tags and alphabet dies.
And to end my post for today some Jubilee news!! Lili of the Valley are having Jubilee Weekend Celebrations starting on the 2nd June till 5th June. Buy 5 stamps from the website for only £20 and a few prizes so do keep an eye on the Ideas to Inspire blog and also the website.

Whimsy Stamps mini blog hop–Elisabeth Bell this time :)
On Wednesday Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs and new Shapeology dies. From then until 29 May the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!
For today's card I have used the adorable Little Jack and Bobbin Gone Fishin’ by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. Isn’t he just too stinkin’ CUTE!?! The fab sentiment is also from the new release, from the Family Ties set.
I have once again used my Distress Markers to colour him. Oh I am loving them, especially for hair – the texture you can get is almost the same as with Copics.
I have used First Edition Up Up Away paper pad, and applied a fair bit of white gesso to them to lighten them up a bit. I also gessoed the chipboard clock from Dusty Attic and adhered that to a star that I die cut.
I finished off with some Jute Ribbon, seam binding and a little adventure sign that was in a packet of buttons (this also didn’t escape the gesso treatment lol)
And the last picture, I just couldn't stop lol.
Don't forget there is a prize up for grabs, so pop across to the Whimsy's Inspirations blog to see which other DT member are taking part.

Hopeful for Wild Orchid Challenge
The only nice thing about Mondays (unless I am on holiday lol) is Wild Orchid Challenge day. Our challenge this time is Bingo, with lots of yummy combos so something for all.
I had planned on taking part in the Whimsy Stamps mini blog hope today but I decided to have the weekend off (first one in a loooong time!) so did not get a chance to get a second card made up for today, so for those looking for the links to the DT taking part in the hop here they are:
Ellie Stover
Stephanne Maraver
Deb Routledge - Special Guest
Jacque Beddingfield - Special Guest
Heidy Blom
Lori
Erin Bailey
And the fact that I went for the middle line across is a no brainer! Ummm pink, ribbon/lace and flowers, as if there was even a choice hahaha. I have used one of the gorgeous new stamps from Whimsy Stamps that were released last week. This is Wee Stamps Hopeful, and I went to town with the distress markers. I am loving these babies!
I have used the gorgeous Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics.
I’ve added a layer using the new Whimsy Shapeology Double Scallop Doily Die and also the Do Hickey So Wrapped Lovely die on which I have stamped a sentiment from the Vintage Sentiments – Just to Say from Lili of the Valley
And of course NO card is complete without Wild Orchid Crafts embellishments – this time I have used 30mm Cottage rose, 25mm Cottage Roses, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses and 8mm semi open roses. I have finished it off with some lace, a metal corner, Cheery Lynn Die cut leaves from the Flourish Leaf Strip, and the gorgeous Pearl Drop Trim along the bottom of the card (this was attached with Crafters Pick Incredibly Tacky Glue as all my embellies are). Everything on the card had a liberal splodge of white gesso
And that’s it from me today, have a great week

Gone Fishing
Well I don#t know what happened to the weather, we have thick pea-soup fog here today! Just as well I am going to be stuck in me craft room all day then lol.
My card today features Gone Fishing from Lili of the Valley. I also used a few of their other stamps – grunge postcard, grunge corners and mixed circular sentiments set. The buttons, jute string and jute ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I’ve no idea what paper I used, it was in my scrap mountain lol, but I seem to think it’s Bo Bunny?
Hope the sun shines on you today

Whimsy Stamps mini blog hop, and a Wee cute too!
On Wednesday (23 May) Whimsy Stamps released this month’s new rubber designs and new Shapeology dies. From then until 29 May the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!
Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.
For my card today I have used Whimsy Stamps Wee Peggy. How stinkin cute is she. The sentiment is also by Whimsy Stamps, from the Friendship Notables 2 set.
The papers were in my 6 x 6 mountain that I am never going to work my way through. I have no idea who they are by – wish I knew so I could get more lol. The So Wrapped Lovely tag was dry brushed with white gesso as were the papers flowers and seam binding. I am loving the small gardenias at the mo, they don’t have scrub up well when given the gesso treatment . The other flowers I used are lilies, 30mm wild rose, 15mm roses, 6mm rose buds and 10mm roses. The die cut butterfly is from Panduro. And I hope to have news on that gorgeous heart button SOON!!!
Wee Peggy was coloured with Copics and pencils
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, 0000, R30
Hair and basket: E57, 53, 50 and dark umber pencil
Greens: G43, 40, 20 and the lightest touch of olive green pencil
Pinks: R20, 00, 000, 0000 and light peach pencil

Ava – Saturated Canary
Did you get the gorgeous image that Krista from Saturated Canary was giving away on her blog? OMW she is just a doll! As soon as I downloaded it I had to sit and colour it – these images make me HAPPY!! I’ve used her for this week’s Saturated Canary challenge, and this time we have to make a bookmark. Now then, I started off with the best of intentions and made a bookmark but love the image so much there is no way I am hiding her inside a book, plus I have a Kindle so even more of an excuse to make her into a card. Soooo, I made the bookmark, photographed it then turned it into a card instead. Aaah, much better lol
And of course a special little lady has to go on a card using special papers – Inkido from Dies to Die For. And I didn’t shed a tear when cutting it lol.
I used a Marianne Design die for the corner after inking it with vintage photo DI. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts as is the lace. I used small gardenia, 25mm rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses and 10mm roses. I also added some pearls to finish it off.
The wee tags are from Lili of the Valley’s Sentiment Tags
And the inside finished off
And now I am going to catch some rays in the garden, it’s our Ben’s 7th birthday and they are coming along for a barbeque.
hugs
Anything but square
It’s Lili’s Little Fairies challenge day and this week the challenge is Anything but Square. So out came me trusty tag card. I’ve had lots of requests for a video on how I assemble this so I will try and get one done in the next couple of weeks for you.
I have used Meant to be and coloured it up with copics and pencils. The sentiment is from the Love Sentiments also from Lili of the Valley. The paper is K&Co Watercolour Bouquet (one of my favourites). The pretty border die is from Crafty Sentiments, and the heart die is from Marianne Design. The embellishments are all from Wild Orchid Crafts – 30mm wild rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, sweetheart blossoms, seam binding and organza rose trim.
I will be back at 4 with my Saturated Canary challenge post. See ya then
