I’ve another sneak peek from Lili of the Valley today. I have finished all my magazine commissions so can spend the next few days concentrating on DT work and new stuff for my blog. I have so many gorgeous stamps (old and new) that are begging to be inked up.
Anyway on to today’s card, the image is Patchwork Present and will be on sale at the NEC today and on the website from the 28th March (if you can wait that long!)
I stocked up on those fab stepper cards from Which Craft UK when I was at the GNPE show at Harrogate last weekend, they are definitely my fave style of card at the moment, I love that I can whip up a card in double quick time using these steppers, and at 70p per card an absolute bargain. There is no way I could hand cut these and get them to come out anywhere near as perfect as the real thing and to be honest I don’t have the time or interest when it’s already done for me – bargain!
Okay so how CUTE is this little bear?!! I coloured it up with Copics and pencils and didn’t blend out the pencil on the fur so it would show some texture.
The papers are Papermania that I picked up last year, love the little dolly print. The guipure lace and flowers – carnation and 15mm roses – are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
That’s all from me today, hopefully I will get a card done for Just Magnolia this week that will actually follow the challenge – unlike last week lol
hugs

Hi Bev
ReplyDeletelove your card, so pretty, love the image. I fully agree with you regarding the stepper cards (hoping that they will be available at Ally Pally). As for you not getting it right last week for the challenge, I'm not at all surprised. I just don't know HOW you manage to make the amount of cards that you do, AND on top of that you go to work as well lol.
