Just Magnolia

Woo get me, the second week on the trot I have managed to get a card done for Just Magnolia challenge, must be the new stamps – they have rekindled my love with Magnolias.  I had not bought any for the longest time … the sporty release put me off them totally but I’m a happy camper again Smile

So this week’s challenge is a totally awesome sketch from the lovely Jacque and she says to embellish to your hearts content …. bad move to tell me to do that lol.  So I decided to make an easel card for a change, not made one for ages.

I have used Tilda with Wrapped Heart, love her hair in this one.  The sentiment is from the Die-namics Polka Dot Greetings Die and Stamp Set.  The papers are the newest release from Nitwit Collections – Val ‘n Tine Collection.  Chock full of pretty pink, right up my street!

Coloured with copics and pencils I used
Hair E25, E23, E50 and light umber pencil
Skin E11, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Reds R39, R37, R35, R32 and a touch of black pencil
Pinks E81, RV00, RV000, RV0000 and a touch of cool grey pencil 20%

The embellies are from Wild Orchid Crafts: organza ribbon, trellis rose, 20mm roses, sweetheart blossoms, 6mm rose buds and fabric flowers

Have a fabulous weekend, mine is going to be spent nose to the grindstone in my craft room all weekend, I have mountains of work to get done in the next couple of weeks.
