Don’t fall off your chair! At last I have managed to get my Lili of the Valley Challenge card done (only 3 days late Bev!). I had this image pre-coloured and fancied a change from Christmas cards so a baby card it is.
Isn’t this just the sweetest! Heaven Sent even comes with it’s very own sentiment which is just perfect for the image. Even the font is perfect lol.
The flowers were the leavings from the video I did last week for Wild Orchid Crafts on colouring mulberry flowers, I really do love the soft shabby look the white acrylic paint gives to the flowers. Cheap as chips and we all have a bit of white paint knocking about (yes even those emulsion match pots or left over emulsion will work!). The flowers used are 25mm wild roses, 25mm hybrid tea rose, 10mm roses, sweetheart blossoms, 8mm semi open roses, 4mm rose buds. I also rubbed some of the white paint on the leaves (yep it’s that rock fern punch again from EK Success, love it!) The heart shape doily is also from WOC, I just rubbed some ink around the edges to age it a bit.
Still not got my Christmas Tree up, I am waiting for Tony to clear the dining room of all his model trains stuff (he was going to get my new craft space originally but was relegated to one of the spare bedrooms lol). I can’t wait to get the dining room back
