Andrew’s Stocking
I am loving these Belles n Whistles stamps so much I have another card using one of them again. This is Andrew’s Stocking, soooooo cute!
The delish paper is Teresa Collins Christmas Home, which I have teamed with Kraft card both from Dies to Die For, and some Jute Ribbon topped off with red satin ribbon.
Little Andrew has been coloured with the usual … Copics and pencins:
Hair: E25, 23, 50 and dark umber pencil
Skin: E11, 00, 000; R20, 30
Sleep suit: BG11, 10, 000, 70; R29, 24, 22 and muted turquoise pencil
Bear: E35, 31, 30; R29 and light umber
Stocking: R29, 24, 22; E42, E40 and tuscan red/french grey 70% pencils
I have used the Tim Holtz clock die behind the image panel, with a Whimsy Stamps sentiment and a few bells from my stash to finish the card off. As always the inside has been decorated following through the design from the front of the card. AND …. not a flower in sight! Good grief girl, that’s a rarity! I had to sit on my hands to stop myself from fiddling and adding flowers but for once managed to restrain myself

Class project and some videos
I had a lovely day yesterday meeting up with old friends, and we got to craft too. I took a little class and this is what we did.
I had not decorated a candle in yonks so when the girls asked if I would do a class with them I was thrilled to get to play again
I coloured Angelic Candle from Lili of the Valley with copics stamped on to tissue paper. After I had heated the image into the candle I did my usual glitter treatment – Diamond Stickles on the wings and stars (loving this colour at the mo). The 15mm roses from Wild Orchid Crafts also got the stickles treatment
The paper that I used on the box (made from a sheet of A3 card and A4 card) is from Craft Creations. Had it for a few years now, it was one of those that were for stroking only lol. But I loved the rich, vintagey look to the paper so it got cut into. The die cut border is from a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis set. The green satin ribbon, hybrid tea rose, cherry blossoms, aster daisies, holly leaves and berries are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps
I also have a couple of new videos up on my Video Tutorials page if you want to take a peek
Have a brilliant week, I am hoping to get the last of my Christmas shopping done and I may even get the Christmas tree up on the weekend

All in a row and LOTV sale news!!
I’m scheduling this post because I am out teaching a class today so had to be up with the larks getting myself sorted. My card today was a request from a lovely lady in Canada, it’s similar to another card I made using All in a row from Lili of the Valley, I just changed up the papers and embellies (she wanted the same colour scheme).
Isn’t that pearl trim just gorgeous?? It’s new in at Wild Orchid Crafts, love it! I adhered it to the paper using Collall All Purpose glue and it attached beautifully, no probs at all and it dries a lot faster than Glossy Accents which is a bonus cuz I am always in a mad rush lol. The satin ribbon and flowers (15mm roses, 25mm hybrid tea rose, cherry blossoms, gypsophila and hybrid tea rose )
The paper is Pink Paislee from last year (or was it the year before?) The lace borders are die cut with my new Tim Holtz border die and I think the sentiment is from a Personal Impressions stamp set.
And now for the Lili of the Valley news!!!
Check out Lili of the Valley’s updated website, which now finally has a currency converter for all our overseas customers!! It’s really easy to use so you never have to wonder anymore how much you are spending!
And now is the time to try it out, as there is 10% off and free postage on all orders – the best ever discount on the LOTV store. The offer runs until 5pm (UK time) on Wednesday 30th November. Cake Glorious Cake!
Sorry I don’t have a card for this week’s Just Magnolia challenge, I had some deadlines to meet but with having a migraine everything went on hold this past couple of days. So instead I have a DT sample card I made for the Lili of the Valley stall at the NEC using the sweet image Cake Glorious Cake from the latest release.
The gorgeous flowers and silk ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts. OMW I really love this ribbon! The flowers I have used are 25mm hybrid tea rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, carnation, tulips and 6mm rose buds. I also used some cheesecloth behind the image, new in stock at Wild Orchid Crafts.
The papers are MME Lost and Found Blush from Dies to Die For, the colours are gorgeous in this pad. The swirl die is a Doo Hickey, also from Dies to Die For.
Isn’t she just the cutest lol.
Have a fab weekend

Lili of the Valley Challenge
A super quick post from me today (well last night because I am scheduling this early then off to bed with a migraine). It’s Lili of the Valley challenge day and this week’s challenge is Anything Goes and there are two fab prizes up for grabs, a voucher from Lili of the Valley and a bunch of floral deliciousness from Wild Orchid Crafts!!
My card is the last magazine card that I have ready and waiting in the wings for just such a night when I can’t see straight to craft lol. It’s the Forever Friends paper pack that I have used again. The image is Oh Christmas Tree and was coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The gingham ribbon, pearls and brads are from Wild orchid Crafts, the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
Told you it was a quick one lol.
