A non-Christmas card from me again today, and another I made a while back. I spent yesterday fighting with Ikea as stuff we had paid for and went to collect was “over-sold”. Me no happy!! So now we are stuck with cupboards with no doors till they arrive back in stock and I need to keep on chasing to find out when they are going to arrive. Sooo needless to say my gander was well and truly up and I was in no mood for crafting last night! Instead I cabbaged out in front of the telly and watched X-Factor. Gosh I can’t remember when last I sat downstairs in the lounge all evening and didn’t even look at my emails let alone touch a stamp! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be doing that a lot more I think. Tony kept on looking at me and in the end said “have you found a twin sister or is that a poster of you sat there lol. The cheek!
So, on to my card which features Emma Walkies and Set 9 Mixed Circular Sentiments from Lili of the Valley. The papers are Echo Park Springtime, the dragonfly is a Doo Hickey die an the pearls and pearl brads are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The gorge die cut border is a MFT Die-Namics border die from Dies to Die For.
And now I am going to hide in my craft room for the rest of the day and get a magazine commission finished (something I had planned to do yesterday oops!)
Have a fabby Sunday
hugs

ReplyDeleteHi Bev
ReplyDeleteWOW what a pretty card love it.
Reading your comments (regarding Ikea), I purchased a humongous piece of furniture from there for my new craft room (in their sale), & because I have been waiting sooooooooooooooo long for my hubby to finish my craft room, I am terrified when we do open it up & go to put it together, that there are going to be pieces missing. Hope you don't have to wait too long for your doors. And the comment about your Hubby & the poster made me laugh, when on the rare occasion I do sit down to watch T.V., my Hubby sarcastically says to me, it's so lovely to have your company I almost forget what you look like lol.
hugs

She's just beuatiful!! LOVE the colors together!! You are a master of LOTV's!!!! And everything else you touch!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the cupboard doors.. I would be livid, too! Would they deliver them to you when they come since you've already paid for them? What a pain!!! At least you got to enjoy some tv time! LOL!!
Hugs,
Teri
We had to wait for cupboard door for two months before Ikea re-stocked them! So I know what you might be thinking now ;-))
ReplyDeleteThe card is so fresh and sweet with this colour combo, and the image is adorable :-)
Vegging out in front of the TV is OK once in a while but not to be recommended on a long term basis as I found out recently when I was ill and could do nothing else. I hope you get your IKEA problem sorted soon.
