It’s Wild Orchid Challenge day today and we have the most delish sketch to follow set by our Dena. Loved working with this one sweets. The stamp I have used is Christmas Dance from the latest Christmas Cuties release, isn’t she just the sweetest little lady!
The copics used to colour the image are:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E31, E51, E50 and warm grey 70% prismacolor pencil
Coat, shoes: R29, R24, R22and tuscan red prismacolor pencil
Skirt: E43, E41, E40 and warm grey 70% prismacolor pencil
Stars: YR24, YR21, Y11
And yes I used those gorgeous the Girls Paperie Tinsel and Twig papers again, I think you are going to get sick of them because I can’t leave them alone lol. I used a Marianne Design Double Frame die and even popped some patterned paper in the center (as you can see in the video) then promptly went and covered it all up with flowers rofl. What a waste of that gorgeous paper.
The ribbon slider, corner metal embellishment, Prima Swirl, trellis rose, 25mm rose, 15mm roses and 8mm semi open roses are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.
Now then for the video, I’ve been asked to do a series of “Quick Flicks” for Lili of the Valley so this is the first – no sew pleated lace. If there are any other tutorials you would like to see drop me an email or leave a comment.

Gros Bisous
She sure is a sweetie Bev and love the paper lace and pearls youve added.

Yes, she really is the sweetest little lady, Bev and it's a gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video as well- must try that sometime soon! How about a 'Quick Flick' on how you decide the design for decorating the inside of the card to coordinate with the front? I do struggle slightly with that but I don't know whether I'm just too concerned about making the card too thick and heavy.

Hi Bev,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card as always! I bought loads of seam binding after seeing you use it on your cards, but since then its sat neglected in my drawer. Could you maybe do a demo of different things to do with it - I can't even tie a decent bow? Thanks a lot,
