It’s been a funny old week, at work on Monday, off Tuesday, back to work Wednesday, off yesterday and back to work today (anyone would think I worked part time lol). The new door is in and it looks fab. I am so glad we decided to change the order to a stable door and wait the extra few weeks (even though it slowed everything up) – I love me new door …. small things amuse small minds lol. The decorating starts this weekend although my hubby is working on Sunday and next weekend so it’s going to be a couple of weeks before he can get cracking with the painting. I can’t wait for it to be finished now, I so want a dust free house!!
It’s Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week Jan is our host and has chosen holiday fun as the theme for the challenge. Now my card don’t look nowt like holiday fun but I have used holiday colours – hot reds and sunny yellows (and I’m playing let’s pretend again rofl).
I have used those stunning the girls paperie papers again, they have to be my all time favourite papers ever. There is not one I don’t love and freak out when I have to cut.
Cherry Tilda has been coloured with copics
Skin: E21, 00, 000, R20, 30
Hair: E29, 25, 50
Reds: R29, 27, 24, 22, 20
Beiges: E42, 41, 40
Basket: E19, 13, 01
The gorge gingham ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts as is the Divine Twine and the flowers – 30mm wild rose, 15mm roses, sweetheart blossoms. The swirl is a Marianne Design Creatables die from the Circles Frame set, the butterfly is from her Butterflies LR0158 set both from Dies to Die For
And that super cute little strawberry tag is a Doo Hickey die. I just made a banner from the sentiment to pop over the top of the strawberry (which I ran through the cuttlebug with a Swiss dots embossing folder).
And the last pic.
Hope you all have a lovely (WARM AND DRY!!!) weekend, we have webbed feet up here. It’s been so cold and damp I put the heating on yesterday. Heating on in early August!!! Whatever next??
I’ve popped this card in my Etsy shop
