I am skiving off work today (legit with a day’s holiday lol) as I have a class to prep for on Saturday and yep I have left it till the last minute again. But I got another magazine commission done and dusted last night so I am a happy bunny, especially as I am a week early … for a change, (but still got another to go so best stop crowing about it and get me skates on).
So today I have another one of those magazine cards, I had to do a set of 3 teenager cards (is it just me or are they as difficult to make as mens cards???) Good old DCWV Linen Closet to the rescue. The image is Texting by Gillian Roberts for Stampavie. I have used this stamp so many times for teenager cards and each time it is so well received.
The scrabble tiles were a gift from the lovely Pops, thanks sweets x. The flowers were made by gathering up some scraps of seam binding then fixing a button in the centre – easy peasy and not too fussy either.
The image was coloured with Promarkers and Copics (they work really well together) but it was so long ago I honestly have no idea what colours I used – I think I made this set of cards in Feb/March. I thought I had written them in me little black book but can I heck as like find the list, sorry.
And now for some commenters candy (whilst I remember). The set of stamps I am giving away I battled for ages to get then when they eventually arrived guess what I found, the other set I had bought months before. I have a problem ….. a serious problem lol. So these stamps are brand new, never out the packet and go out of stock faster than they come in.
From the comments left yesterday my grandson took great pleasure in writing all the names down, folding up all the bits of paper (he is majorly into paper folding but that’s a tale for another day lol) and pull out …….
