I’ve nothing new to post today, I was in an awful lot of pain over the weekend and yesterday so spent most of it in bed as the only relief I get from the pain (apart from being zonked out with all the painkillers) is when I am lying down which is not ideal when I need to get back on my feet to go back to work. So I thought I would post one of the first cards I did for a magazine commission (lost the very first ones when I changed computers, typical as they were my favourites).
The papers and stamps are from Stampin Up. When I first saw the papers I had no idea what I was going to do with them, they are so bright for babies cards but once I toned them down with the brown I decided I loved them (so contrary lol). Even the sentiment is from the paper kit. Ideal for really quick cards.
Not much else I can say about the card apart from I coloured the pram with Copics – BG11, BG10, BG0000, C5, C3, C1 and used a Martha Stewart daisy border punch and a medium retro flower punch. The pretty 25mm organza ribbon and pearls are from Wild orchid Crafts.
I hope to be able to get another Lili of the Valley sneak peek finished today to post tomorrow (all coloured, just need to pull the card together).
