It’s Lili of the Valley challenge day today and this week we are being sponsored by The Ribbon Girl. So natch the challenge is ribbons and bows lol. I was going to do another boys card but I just can’t get my head around a bow on a boys card – too set in my ooooold ways lol.
So I dug out Teddy Romeo, he is the cutest little bear. I loved colouring this image, especially the stonework, it really is so effective and so easy to colour too. How fab is that balcony lol.
The papers are from the Echo Park Springtime pad. I didn’t have a matching patterned paper left as I am at the end of the pad now after doing a magazine commission so found some matching aqua card and used one of the gorgeous background stamps from LOTV and made me own paper. Not done this for ages and forgot just how useful background stamps can be. Must remember to do this more often.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: All Lili of the Valley – Teddy Romeo, Circular Sentiments set 9, Set 15 Roses background stamps
Paper: Echo Park Springtime pad
Tools: Spellbinders small circles and scalloped circles, MTF Die-Namics scallop border
Embellies: Sheer ruffled ribbon – pink, Polka Dot button, bakers devine twine from The Ribbon Girl, Flowers all from Wild Orchid Crafts – Gardenia, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, pearls
That’s it from me today,
hugs
