Friday Sketchers …. on Sunday

Fridays are a busy old day now with me needing two cards for the two challenges some weeks.   So I thought I would hang back till today to post my Friday Sketchers card.  I’m hosting the challenge this week (my first) and of course there is an easy peasy lemon squeezy sketch to follow (wouldn’t be mine if it wasn’t easy now would it).

I was a bit rushed this week so had to make this card in record time.  I had the image coloured up already from way back so just needed to pick the papers.  Good old Stampin Up! to the rescue.   A heart doily (which will be on the Wild Orchid Crafts website soon), a 25mm wild rose, two daffodils, hip rosebuds and gypsophila and job done.  That gorgeous sparkly 25mm organza ribbon is from WOC too.  The punched border is a Martha Stewart PATP Swirling Lace.

That’s it from me today, Bea, Jeanette, Claudia, Tanja, Jacque, Janneke, Jorunn and Inge have made some brilliant cards from the sketch so if you get a chance do pop across to their blogs to take a peek.
See those delish corners …….. I asked Paul at Wild Orchid Crafts if he could get them in to stock and ohhhh yessss ….. they will be on the website soon.  He sent me some to see if they were the same as mine and as I have loads already I thought I would give these 4 packs away.  So if you would like to try them out leave a comment and I will share them between two people, I’ll draw the winners tonight when I draw the Simon Says Stamp winner).   Mini candy now closed.

    I have seen you use these corners before & thought that they were a die & you just coloured or sprayed them this colour : DER!!!

    Stunning card as usual Bev and i never use yellow so its nice to see it used more often, you may of even tempted me into using it, i may even go the whole hog and join in the fun, i haven't done challenges before only as a guest designer, never entering myself.I cannot believe we also have the chance of winning those gorjus corners you use and i'm so pleased that Paul is gonna be stocking them soon as i buy all my seam binding, flowers, pearls, ribbon and gorgeous lace from WOC too so thanks to you there are things asked for that they will soon stock, i believe i've to thankyou for them selling seam binding too, i have just a few bags of it, lol, i would love to win this stash of corners so please accept my entry.
