It’s Wild Orchid Challenge day today and this week we have two fab prizes up for grabs. The prize from Wild Orchid Crafts is 27 x 5 metre bundles of Seam Binding (one in each colour) plus some scrummy blooms, and Lili of the Valley are also sponsoring this week with a £10 voucher. The challenge is “Let’s get Sentimental” so all you need to do to enter is have a sentiment on your card. Easy hey!
And yes I have used another of the Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable stamps, she is called Joy. Coloured with Copics.
E21, E00, E000, E0000, R20 for the skin, E29, E27, E25, E40 for the hair, B95, B93, B91, E43 for the dress and shoes.
I’ve had lots of emails asking how to cut the shaped cards without ending up with two pieces of card. All I do is score and fold an A4 sheet of card, and position the die so the top of the die is past the fold, and secure in place with some easy lift tape. This is the part that will hold the card together (apologies for the poo photo, I took it under the daylight lamps last night.)
I cut the die with a Grand Calibur (A4 cutter) which, whilst I'm talking about the machine, does not take Sizzix dies - not impressed! And after paying just under £100 for the die cutting machine I have discovered that if I want to cut Sizzlets I need to by the adaptor mat. WHAT??? This should have been included in with the machine. I'm not a happy bunny I can tell you!! Thank goodness for my trusty Cuttlebug. I just wish they would bring a big Bug out.
