Trellis Roses are on the website now! OMW these are simply stunning and I really don’t think they are going to be around for long (there is limited quantities for now so be quick if you want them). The detail on them is amazing. They are available in two sizes – 35mm and 40mm. I have used the 35mm on my card today, and Jacqui has used the 40mm so pop across to her blog to see her gorgeous creation.
New to the website as well is the Poppies in vintage colours and also seam binding. I have used the pink poppies on this card, spritzed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist. The roses started out as white, but I mixed up a concoction of pink inks with water and added some Perfect Pearls and made me own glimmer mist in just the right shade of pink, love it when I am experimenting and the results are good lol. The pink seam binding I distressed a bit with some walnut stain and mahogany distress ink.
The stunning image is by Sugar Nellie and is available at Funky Kits. At first I wasn’t too sure about this one so just bought the other three. Well it worried me that little Faith had been left behind all lonely, so I broke down and went and got her yesterday, she’s with her other three gorgeous pals now, so I’m happy lol. She has been coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.
Copics used: Skin E2, E00, E000, E0000, R20; Hair E29, E25, E50, Dress & Hat R85, R83, R81, G24.
I stamped out a Hero Arts Friends background stamp and cut some hearts out. I’ve attached the seam binding bow on top of the hearts so they are not showing up that well. I think I need to start making 12 x 12 cards so I can fit everything on lol. The silver butterfly is from a Martha Stewart Monarch punch, and I have coated it with German Glass Glitter (this one is 80 grit). Love the chunkiness and total sparkle this stuff gives. The polka dot button and bakers twine is from The Ribbon Girl
A close up of the rose and poppies, so delish! The little tags are punched from a X-Cut 1” tag punch, the sentiment is from a Woodware set. All has been edged with the essential Stickles.
I made the flourish with Rhinestones sort of using a Bazzill Bling template but it didn’t fit properly so I ended up just fiddling and changing it a bit till I was happy. The papers are Tilda Kitchen Garden that I got from Cuddly Buddly. The lace border along the striped paper is from a MFT Die-namics crochete border die that is now back in stock, not sure how long it will be there for though, it seems to fly out as soon as Tracy gets more stocks.
