When I saw this sentiment in a Stampin Up set of papers and die cuts I knew exactly which image I was going to use – Little Ellie from Stamposaurus. I just love this little heffalump lol, and what a total dream to colour too. I only have one more card to make for the set that was commissioned and can honestly say I have loved making each and every one of them.
I would never have thought to use chocolate brown for a baby card but I didn’t have any other card that matched with the papers and I am so ridiculous about things matching that I went for a total contrast. I think it works quite well. The card didn’t take very long to make at all, I love it when a card just comes together like this one did.
I found my Martha Stewart Daisy border punch that was buried under a pile of papers, I turned this craft room inside out last week with no luck, shows how often I shift the piles of papers on my desk rofl. It really was a eureka moment when I got my little mitts on it and I had to use it right away (as you do).
The cherry blossoms and aster daisies are from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the little stamens. The ribbon is seam binding that I have distressed with blue distress inks. The heart button is one I made, I cut a little heart, dabbed it with walnut stain distress ink, punched two holes the triple embossed with UTEE.

Hi Bev I have a HUGE thing about things matching I'm really sad tho cus I even match underwear & socks to the colour clothes I'm wearing- everything has to co-ordinate lol.
