Monday again yuk. Why do the weekends whizz by so fast? Not fair lol. Today is Wild Orchid Challenge day and we have a fab colour combo to play with – Pink, white and silver. I used one of the soon to be released Lili of the Valley Fairies, isn’t she just too stinking cute!!! There are 20 new stamps being released next month and I sat for ages trying to decide which image to use, love them all so much! Jacqui has posted a sneak peek on her blog too and I am sure the rest of the DT will be posting some up soon as well.
Sadly I had to use the old light box again as it has been so dark here. I dug out some rather old Magnolia paper, I just had enough left to make up this card. I used silver German Glass Glitter on the sizzix stars that I cut from chipboard. The scrolls are die cut from a Tim Holtz die. I was quite restrained with the flowers on this card for a change – less is more Bev!! I used 25mm Wild Rose, 30mm wild rose, 20mm rose
The little tags are also a Sizzix die – Gell-o plates and I used a Paula Pascqual set for the sentiment. Ranger distress crackle paint was slathered around the edges of the papers. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pretty satin edged chiffon ribbon is from The Craft Fairy.
This little lady is called Pom Pom. I added Sticklees to her pom poms and wings. She was coloured with Copcis. I used:
Skin E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E33, E53, E51, E50
Clothes: R85, R83, R81, RV10M C3, C1, C0, C00
Grass: YG63, YG11
The charm is from Ebay, as is the chain and jump rings. The heart shaped doily is from The Ribbon Box.
That’s all from me today, another marathon post I’m afraid, so if you’re still with me well done you!!
Have a good week.
