The gorgeous vintagey papers are GCD Joyful Peace – OMW these papers are sublime! Love the rich deep colours. The flat gardenia is from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

The border punch is a Martha Stewart around the page set – Combo Cherish that I got from Oyster Stamps. I am SO impressed with them – their prices are fantastic, P&P is free if order is over £20 and it arrives the next day too. I ordered it a couple of weeks back (but ordered the wrong one DURR), phoned them to explain and they put the correct one in the mail for me and I had to send the incorrect one back. Well, super efficient (NOT!!!!!!!!!) Royal Mail nicely went and lost the replacement. No trouble to the lovely girls at Oyster Stamps, when I phoned them they put another replacement in the mail for me next day special delivery. Now how is that for service!!! I just had to mention this as they went out of their way to help. Toot toot Oyster Stamps, you really are a brilliant bunch of people!
That’s it from me today, one more day at work then I’m on me jollies for a couple of weeks, can’t wait!!
hugs

Beautiful card Bev! I love the traditional Christmas colours and such a sweet image.
ReplyDeleteI had a similar oops moment with an ink pad at the weekend. I dropped it but luckily it landed ink side up otherwise I would have had a nice black ink stain on my dining room carpet! Don't think OH would have been too impressed lol!

This is just gorgeous and NO ONE would ever have known your boo boo if you had not said xx
ReplyDeleteIt is very frustrating when you do things like that though!
I must just ask you as well Bev, your cards that you make using Go Kreate Dies, did you use these in your spellbinders Callibar?
Mine arrived yesterday, I cannot play yet coz I had an hysterectamy (keyhole surgery), so cannot over do things at the mo. I read the info about it, but it said you cannot use other dies!!!! Is that right? or do you need different plates?
Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year xx

Well saved - the resultant card is lovely. Elizabeth x
ReplyDeleteI'll second Oyster Stamps - brilliant with me too when I had a faulty MS punch & so lovely to deal with. Ever tried salvaging the image after you've knocked the dirty distress inks brush water over your image taking some glitter with it - I haven't yet but I'm sure the day will come. Anyhow since I'm not taht familiar with this image I'd not have known but for your confession so a brilliant bit of salvaging. Love your matching of the ribbon colour with that coffee card/paper.
