Wild Orchid Challenge – Pastels

Blimey where did the last two weeks go to??  Isn’t this year just flying by!  I just realised there’s only two months left till Christmas eeeek!!  Bet that depressed some of you (it sure as hell depresses me.)

It’s Wild Orchid Challenge day and this week our challenge is Pastels.  It’s also Stampavie Challenge today but I will post that card tomorrow because the pictures did not come out right and it was too dark to rephotograph them.

Thanks to one of my lovely readers I have managed to track down Tilda paper in the UK woohoo.  I ordered a few more pads (can’t help myself lol) from Cuddly Buddly and they arrived within a couple of days, unlike the naff service from Panduro!!  The papers I used on this card I ordered from Panduro and I can’t see them in stock at Cuddly Buddly, the pad is called Springtime.  Love it!!

I used one of my older Hanglar & Stanglar stamps, she is just so sweet.

I am afraid I went overboard with the flowers (again lol).  I have used 35mm Wild Rose, 25mm Wild Rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, 8mm semi open roses, 4mm rose buds.

I used a Spellbinders Grand Lace die for the lacy border, and the little dragonfly in the top left hand corner is a Doo Hickey Dragonflies die.  The leaves are punched with a Martha Stewart Branch punch and Tracy has them in stock at Dies to Die For so whizz over there now as they won’t last!!!

This card will be on Ebay along with a few others later in the week.

My second card for today is a sneak peek of the new SWALK stamps that are being released on 22nd October by Crafters Companion on Ideal World.  There is a blog hop starting at Jacqui’s blog and the prize is a £50 voucher to spend on Crafters Companion website.

These sneak peeks are going to be my last DT cards for Crafters Companion, I made the difficult decision to stand down from the DT last week.  Thanks so much for having me as part of the team Sara, Leann and Jacqui.

That’s all from me today, I might get my Stampavie challenge card posted later if there is still enough light.  Winter still sucks lol.

Thanks for stopping by,
