Our challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge this time is One for the girls – another nice and easy challenge (just like I like them lol). So feel free to interpret it any way you like. Paul and Siri have put up another fab prize too, very yummy!
And here’s my card. It was featured in the latest Stampavie Newsletter along with some amazing creations by the rest of the DT so if you didn’t receive it make sure you register for it, it’s free with oodles of inspiration in there.
I went overboard with the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts again. The flowers I used are 15mm roses, 30mm wild roses, 35mm wild roses, 25mm hybrid tea roses. The swirls are a Bosskut Flourish die. The lace is also from Wild Orchid Crafts. Here’s a closer look at the flowers all glammed up with Glimmer Mist.
I stitched around the edges of the paper after distressing with Vintage Photo distress ink, then applied Stickles to the edges after curling up sections of the paper. The Stickles helps the curl to set.
I distressed the edges of the punched butterflies (Martha Stewart punches) with Vintage Photo distress ink to help them pop.
I am entering this card in the first Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge which is Things with Wings
I am dashing off to work now and leaving my hubby at home – I do hope he follows doctors orders and does nothing all day, he had another bad turn yesterday and frightened the life out of us both!
Thanks so much for stopping by.Thanks for stopping by,
