Oh dear, I realised after I had made this card that I have already used this image so it certainly ain’t a sneak peek lol. But I do love little James so don’t mine using him twice in a week. Don’t forget the new Lili of the Valley Christmas stamps go on sale on the 19th, so not long to wait now. I will try and get a couple more done this week although I am struggling just now with having to do Tony’s share of jobs around the house as well as mine with him being poorly. I cut the grass today – first time ever (I have been incredibly spoiled by my hubby over the years and have never had to lift a finger – now it’s payback time and boy I didn’t realise just how much I took him for granted xxx)
So back to my card, I picked up these new Papermania A Silent Night papers last week and love the vintage feel to them.
I inked up the edges of the papers with Versamark then dunked them in some gold embossing powder then heat embossed. The gold is much shinier IRL. Love the effect this gives.
The sentiment is from a Kelly Panacci set – how perfect for the image lol. I have coloured the image with Copics and Prisma pencils:
Fur: E53, E551, E50 and brown Prisma pencil
Hat, Presents: R59, R46, R22 and Tuscan Red Prisma Pencil, G85, G82, G40 and black Prisma pencil.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I used gardenias and 15mm roses. I broke my MS branch punch the other week and was gutted as I had heard it had been discontinued. Well, I got me a new one this week, Dies to Die For have them in stock woohoo. I was well pleased lol.
Have a good week! Thanks for stopping by,
