The new Christmas stamps from Lili of the Valley ARE ON SALE!!! I think these are going to fly and be a sell out just like the A5 Stamp Sheets did so if you want some (or all!!) of these little darlings go and order them now so you are not disappointed.
I cannot believe just how much I am in love with these little darlings, they are just too adorable for words and today I am sharing Angel Gabriel. Just check out those socks lol.
The light was really poo yesterday when I photographed this card (best place was the bathroom lol. I have used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers, lots of Stickles and Twinklets were also added.
Here’s a close up of the snowflakes, cut with a Spellbinders Create a Flake 1 die and smothered in Twinklets. The sweet little 15mm roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
This was another mega rushed card so I don’t have the Copic colours I used, sorry. The sentiment is from a Studio G set that I have had for absolute ages and it comes out every year and gets used over and over again. The delish 25mm organza ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
My second card today is for our Whiff of Joy Challenge, and I have provided the sketch for this challenge (and once again had to fiddle and tweak but not too badly this time lol). I rotated the sketch to fit my image.
I went back to one of my favourite Whiff of Joy images – Melinda blowing kisses. I think the Guardian Angel stamps will always be my very favourite Whiff of Joy stamps, I adore the innocence that Elisabeth Bell has captured.
I have used the stunning GDC Studios Ella Blue papers, I don’t think I have ever seen such a stunning range of papers – they are better than sublime! The delish brown lace was obtained in the USA by a very sweet friend, thanks honey xxx.
The gorgeous flowers were all in my last DT kit from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I have used gypsophila, 15mm roses, 20mm roses and 30mm Wild Rose which have all been spritzed with Glimmer Mist. I have applied Stickles to her head band, wings, hearts and her blouse for a lil bit of bling. I’ve added some pearls to the punched border (Fiskars Apron Lace punch).
I have coloured the image with Distress Inks and used the following colours:
Skin: Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogany
Hair and blouse: Walnut Stain, Black Soot
Jeans: Stormy Skies, Tumbled Glass
Hearts: Tattered Rose
Phew, another looooong post from me, sorry xx
hugs
