Woohoo I actually managed to get a challenge card done for a change. I am so not in the mood for making cards, the old mojo has gone on her summer holidays and my back is still agony. All in all not a good combo lol.
So, I was mooching through my stamps on Tuesday and rediscovered this gorgeous gorgeous stamp Dreaming Pixie and sat down to play. This weeks Papertake Weekly challenge is for stitching (something I love to do on my cards) so I’m entering this there.
I have used Summer Lights and Summer Fun digi sets from Bearly Mine Designs – how gorgeous are they!! The stunning lace was in my DT pack from Wild Orchid Crafts – it broke my heart to use it lol.
The flowers are also from Wild Orchid Crafts, I have used Classic Sweet Roses, 20mm roses, 15mm roses. The leaves I made by folding a scrap of green card in half and cutting out leaf shapes.
The image has been coloured with distress inks:
Skin: Tattered Rose and Aged Mahogany
Dress, roses and wings: Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet and Worn Lipstick (all mixed together)
And a touch of weathered wood for the shadow under her arms and her eye-shadow.
I’ll be back tomorrow with my Just Magnolia challenge – it’s Special Monthly challenge time again so a great prize from Simon Says Stamp
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Adorable card, Bev! Best wishes for Mojo and Back...
