Create4Fun and Cute Card Thursday challenge

I didn't get round to posting this yesterday, I got back in so late from the show at Doncaster Racecourse I collapsed in a heap and did nothing all night. What a fantastic show it was too - one of the busiest I have seen in a long time. For most of the day the Lili of the Valley stand was so busy the poor ladies were having to really elbow their way in to get to the stamps (and most of the new ones were sold out by 3pm so we sent the gorgeous LOTV girlies home early to get more packed for today lol).

So on to my card which was made for this weeks Create4Fun challenge, it's a fabulous sketch by Tina. I am also entering it in this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge which is to make a Christmas card, Shabby TeaRoom - xmas in July, Fab & Funky - xmas, Fresh Brewed - xmas in July, Creative Prompts - Xmas in July.

I unearthed some old Stampin Up papers that were discontinued quite a while ago, I love the traditional look these papers give. I coloured the image (Little Shepherd Boy from Lili of the Valley) with Copics and a touch of Prismacolor pencils for the extra shading.

The poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I have spritzed them with Cosmic Shimmers and then edged the top layer with gold Stickles. The cute little gold spacers were from Ebay, I think I paid next to nothing for several thousand last year. The bell was off a Christmas cracker (I bought the crackers in the sales in January just for the bells - soooo sad rofl).

Oh and before I forget, it's the new Kenny K challenge today, the DT is split into two teams so the other ladies have their turn this week.
