Remember I told you about the Lili of the Valley stamp sheets the other day – well I forgot to post my card lol. This is one of the stamps off the Christmas stamp sheet – can you believe I used sweet little James before I used Madison & Amy lol. (For those of you that don’t know, Amy is my little granddaughter and Madison is my tricolour Cavalier King Charles spaniel. (Soon remedied though, I will be back with that one later in the week). The sentiment is also off the stamp sheet.
The image has been coloured with Copics and the green was so harsh I went over it with a black Prismacolor pencil to tone it down a bit – what is it with Copics and harsh colours!!!!!
The paper I have had in my craft stash for years, the poinsettias are new from Wild Orchid crafts, I love it that there is 3 sizes in both colours (red and white) and that the largest flower is not so huge that it overpowers the card like some do that I have used. I have edged them with frosted lace stickles – looks like a flipping snail trail now that it has dried – Twinklets to the rescue me thinks as soon as I get a chance.
The second card is for my regular Stampavie DT blog post. I have had a commission to make some Gillian Roberts, Penny Johnson and Sarah Kay cards and this is one of them.
I have used MME Penny Lane papers, the image (In the Park) by Gillian Roberts for Stampavie has been coloured with distress inks and the sentiment stamp is Catslife Press.
The lace, flat gardenia and pins are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The border punch is Fiskars Apron Lace. I inked the edges of the papers with Victorian Velvet distress ink.
Please check back tomorrow – I am taking part in a huge card drive for Michelle Oatman, and the prizes are amazing!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous week
