I wanted to post these on Saturday but I have been having such problems with my internet (again – good old Virgin Media – NOT!!!!) that it’s taking me absolute ages to get anything posted.
This is what we woke up to yesterday morning – lethal weapons or what!! This was taken looking out of our bedroom window.
I would hate one of these to fall on me, I was in a panic in case they broke off and went through the bonnet of my car.
Freezing, but so pretty
One plant well and truly dead from the cold
And the snow dogs – check out Ebony’s ears lol
Poor Roxy battling to find her piddle spot lol
Ebony after Mr Robin (she hates that bird)
Last icicles shot
It's amazing - it snowing out there and in our country it's hot and sunny - we are waiting for the rain....
ReplyDeleteOh Bev, wow they are some icicles, we had a number on our roof as well and the shed. Oh I miss the joy of dogs getting smothered with snow balls on their ears and legs, we had Yorkies so know that well. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxx
ReplyDeleteDon't give up on plants at least May. If you can keep it fairly dry when things start to thaw it should stop any rotting. Plants can be very resiliant. Hope it makes it. Lovely piccies.

ReplyDeleteBev, thank you for these pics. For me, it's cold when it's at 68 degrees which is not even close to a Popsicle in summer. I love the icicles. They are really beautiful. And how cute the dogs in the snow. The plant was covered in ice - wow, now that looked cold..brrrrr! Be safe dear and try to stay warm with that lovely weather there! ;D

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful Bev. I have gotten one each year on my front that is about 6 feet long. I love them, I leave them there till I think that the gutter won't take much more but they are over my garden so wont hurt anyone.
ReplyDeleteOh Bev! I've seen some incredible pics from home - you guys are really having a bad time with the weather. Hope they've got the roads under control!!! Never used to be enough salt and grit! Those icicles look leathol!!! Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteOh my dear those do look like weapons. Looks like your babys were having fun. We haven't gotten the big snow yet just a couple of inches. Stay warm dear
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. Not seen icicles like that since I was a child. amazing photos. Love those doggies too. I have a Shih Tzu, and it doesn't take much snow before she's covered either. Luckily we've not had much here in the east, in fact it's almost gone now....will that be famous last words?
ReplyDeletehugs Debbie xx
Amazing photos, Bev- those icicles are awesome. Your little dogs look as if they are enjoying themselves. You seem to be having it rough on the mainland.
