I’ve a Hanglar card to share today, I love these stamps so much (okay so I’m not alone here then lol). I sat her on a Magnolia kitchen bench (another stamp that I have had for an absolute age and had never even opened the package it came in). The papers are Magnolia from last Christmas I think.

I distressed some seam binding, it was too much of a pinky red so I toned it down with a bit of distressing. If you would like a quick video on how I distress the stuff leave a comment and I will get one made. I stitched a button and a ladybug charm in place after distressing the “ribbon”. Good news, The Ribbon Girl will soon be stocking seam binding – watch this space. I buy mine in spools of 100 yards, a bit much if all you want is say 5 yards of a colour lol.
You can see in the picture above I distressed all the edges of the paper with a Tim Holtz distressing tool then ran some Walnut Stain distress ink around the edges then applied Diamond Stickles to bling it up a bit. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I used 25mm hybrid Tea Rose, 15mm roses, 8mm semi open roses, 4mm rose buds and cherry blossoms. The flourish die cut is a BossKut that I picked up from Ebay, and the dragonfly from the Magnolia Doo Hickey Dragonflies set.
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, I can’t link to the actual stamp as the shop is closed for the holidays. I stamped around the image with a little stamp from the Stempelglede Grunge Hearts set.
The image has been stamped with Memento ink onto Lili of the Valley’s Super Smooth Stamping card then coloured Copics:-
Skin: E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E29, E25, E51
Clothes: R29, R27, R24, R22, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1, C0
Bench: E44, 42, E40
This card is on Ebay, along with a few others.
That’s it from me today, got some more magazine work to do and then tonight I am going out to see some friends (first time I have been out since Christmas eve – I have been avoiding the shops like the plague and have not even shopped in the sales online, hang on whilst I go polish my halo lol).
hugs,
