I have made a card following this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch and have used little Annie, isn't she just so sweet. I had not used the tree trunk yet so thought I would ink it up. Now I had originally planned to colour the image in with Copics and did the tree trunk beautifully even if I say so myself - I got the shading spot on and was so chuffed with myself seeing as I have been petrified to even take the caps off them rofl. I coloured her skin and hair fab too and was on such a high ..... then hit the ground with a great big wallop! I coloured her dress, got the shading spot on again but the colour was awful. The pinks I used (the only ones I have .... for now) were too garish and looked dreadful so in the bin it went. So, I dug out my security blanket (yep - me distress inks and twinks) and set to colouring again. I don't think I will ever be able to wean myself off my inks and twinks lol.
I decided last weekend that I MUST start using up some of my older stash - I have so much it's criminal! I am ashamed of the stuff I have that is not getting used. So I dug these papers out - they are different manufacturers - daisyd's and 3 Bugs yet work so well together. Big deal - I used two bits of paper out of a huge whopping pile but it's a start lol.
I was not so lazy yesterday so took photos of the inside and used some of the flowers from an old Craft Feeling kit. There is so much in these kits they last for ages and ages.
