I broke down and got some Copics last week - oh boy the panic is unreal!! I coloured this image with the usual distress inks and H2O's (cos I'm such a scaredy cat) then used the copics over and wow, what a difference they make - talk about adding depth and dimension. Now I've just got to get brave enough (and more colours lol) to attempted to colour a whole image with copics only. Think that's still a long way away.

I received some of the new Spellbinders Pendants borderabilities in my DT kit from Create4Fun last week, so had to use one of them on my card - love them!! I used the other border in the side for the inside but can't get a decent photo of it sadly (done my head in big time!)
Recipe:
Stamps: Inky Impressions Lili's birthday cake from Create4Fun and sentiment from CleverCut (I think)
Papers: DCWV Nana's Nursery
Tools: McGill Botanical Pine punch, Spellbinders Borderabilities Renaissance Hearts, Circle Nestabilities, medium retro flower punch
Embellies: Fine organza ribbon from Create4Fun (can't see it on the web), flat backed crystals, Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
Thanks for stopping by,

<3,

Bev, I have followed your blog for sometime and I though with your coloring being so perfect and beautiful that you were already using copics. I went back through some of your post and notice you really don't mention how you color your images. I think I read one post where you stated you used H2O's and a Marvy pen. What exactly have you been using to color your beautiful cards? I can't image them bing any more gorgeous than they already are.
ReplyDeleteI love your work! How about doing a tutorial on coloring. Your work is amazing. Thank YOU for sharing.
