This weeks the challenge at SimonSaysStamp is "Lets craft with Tim" . They want you to get creative with Tim Holtz products. If you don't have any you can still join in, just make something 'Inspired by Tim'. You don't have to do "grunge" which is just as well as I certainly can't do grunge - blimey it brings me out in hives distressing or tearing paper!!! You could add a torn edge with some ink dabbed on, or just add some glitter glue like stickles. There is a fab prize up for grabs too!!Did they say stickles!!! Okay, I bet poor Tim's toes would curl if he saw this card lol. How far away from grunge can you get lol. Now this challenge would be easy for me as you all know the love affair I have with his Distress inks lol - so I thought I would do something completely different and go with the bling instead. So a bit of heat embossing, a bit of Cuttlebugging, a piece of ribbon and some stickles (oh and me pearls) and job done!
I wanted to avoid DP on this card so went with heat embossing on the inside to make my background. All the stamps are from the SimonSaysStamp All my love set - isn't that cake just too delish!!!
A close up of the cake to show the stickles. What a blooming nightmare this card was to photograph. In the end I had to angle it slightly to get a decent shot to show the embossing and stickles. It is there, honest!!
Righty ho, I'm back off to my "cute" lol. I am beavering away making some cards with the new Whiff of Joy stamps - I was drooling so much over them last night I nearly drowned them!!!
